The purpose of this study is to examine students’ friendships and university experiences. As a participant, you will be asked to complete a series of questionnaires. You will also be asked to provide the email address of a friend of yours who is also enrolled as a student at UTRGV. This friend must (1) also attend UTRGV, (2) be at least 18 years of age, and (3) be a person with whom you are not romantically involved. The friend who you identify will also be invited to participate by filling out their own survey, separately. Please obtain your friends permission in providing their email address when completing this portion. The survey can also be completed without a friend’s email address. Risks associated with your participation are expected to be minimal, and your involvement should only require approximately 30-45 minutes of your time during a single session.
